How much does a cleaning lady costs?

Prices for cleaning ladies in Copenhagen varies greatly.

For a private cleaner to your house or apartment who is working alone or through a freelancing platform, you can expect to pay around:

100dkk / hour up to 250dkk / hour

Of course here things like experience and reliability factor in greatly.

Not all cheap cleaners are reliable and not all of them are trustworthy.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a cleaner for your office, you might hire a subcontractor or a company.

These options will cost you about 175dkk / hour all the way up to 450dkk / hour.

Depending on experience, company's reputation and size of the company.

Office Cleaning Generally Includes:

Disinfecting of areas and often used items and equipment's (door handles, keyboards, lights switches etc)

Vacuuming of floors and carpets in hallways, entrances, reception, working areas, kitchen, kitchenette, bathrooms etc.

Washing/mopping floors in every area that doesn't have carpets.

Dusting of surfaces. Both the easy to reach and hard to reach surfaces. This includes things like: lamps, ceiling fans, high shelves, baseboards, desk legs, chair legs and other horizontal surfaces.

Trash duty. Emptying trash bags and replacing them in every area (including kitchen, bathrooms and offices).

Wet Wiping. This means cleaning spots (mud, food, dirt and other) on surfaces. We do this by taking a damp rag and disinfectant and going over tables, chairs, shelves and other areas.

Kitchen Duty. On kitchen duty a cleaner usually goes through the kitchen, taking care of leftover or rotting food, getting rid of breadcrumbs and other food pieces, washes, dries and puts away the dishes. This also includes sink cleaning, periodic microwave and fridge cleaning, towel replacement, and de-calcifying of sinks and water boilers.

Bathroom Cleaning. Here the cleaner disinfects bathroom seats, flush buttons, and other surfaces. Cleans mirrors. Replaces toilet paper. Washes towels. Cleans sink. De-Calcifies sink and toilet. Refill soap dispensers, polish taps etc.

Unique request & Other. Cleaners should also accept unique customer requests, in case there is a special location or equipment or request.
There is also a recommended monthly or quarterly main cleaning, which is a very very very thorough cleaning of everything from top to bottom in every area of an office.
